What is IFDAT?
The International Forum for Drug and Alcohol Testing (IFDAT) is a non-profit organisation, registered as a 501c(3) non-profit organization in the United States of America (USA).
We are dedicated to the advancement of global employee drug and alcohol testing systems and processes. In keeping with the international platform, the appointed Board Members and representatives of IFDAT cover a global reach.
What is an IFDAT conference?
The “Annual” IFDAT Conference provides a platform for experts from a wide variety of disciplines associated with the drug and alcohol industries to meet and discuss a range of topics focused on current and future developments relevant to employee testing globally.
At these conferences employers, industry providers and other interested parties discuss best practices, new developments, updates in policies and technology, efficiency improvements and other topics relevant to enhancing employee drug and alcohol testing.

The international employee screening market is growing rapidly as more and more businesses expand their operations globally. As the need to screen employees on an international basis grows, so does the need to improve and identify opportunities for this complicated process.

During the day (12.00-16.00 TBC), why not come and join others at our (non-compulsory!) social and networking activities. Please note this is still TBC – we are still trying to arrange these and will announce once confirmed. This is open to all, including travel partners, families, etc. Please note there may be a charge to cover your chosen activity ($TBC).
From 18.00-20.00 we are holding a welcome drinks reception and get together at the beautiful Riverwalk Terrace area at the Tampa Convention Center.
Arrive nice and early. Get registered, pick up your IFDAT bag, help yourself to a drink and take a look around the Sponsor area. Our keynote speaker will kick off the conference followed by a number of sessions throughout the day (see program for details). In the evening, there is an opportunity for you to join us for the IFDAT Social Celebration Dinner and Networking at the oldest restaurant in Florida. With a buffet style of traditional Colombian dishes followed by a short Flamenco show. The perfect environment to continue networking within an informal and enjoyable setting. Spaces are limited and always sell out – so please book EARLY to avoid disappointment!
The final day of the conference starts nice and early and is packed full of more interesting and informative sessions, covering a range of topics and industries (see program for further details). The conference closes with an address by the IFDAT Chairperson followed by a “Farewell Drinks” send off at the Sail Plaza (at the Tampa Convention Center) with a wonderful view across the water. The Farewell event is one of the most appreciated and is a final opportunity to catch up with old/new friends, discuss the event and say farewell until next year!
